INGREDIENTS

NOTE: Verify that triangles are cut correctly (see cutting charts and  key chart)

From Snow (9900 11), cut:
1 - I - 15.5 x 2.75”
1 - O - 3.5” square
From Ruby Ice (9900 169), cut:
1 - A - 8.25 x 4.25”
1 - B - 10/25 x 2.75”
1 - C - 5 x 1.25”
1 - D - 3.5 x 2”
1 - E - 4.5 x 5.5”
2 - F - 6.5 x 2”
2 - G - 2.75 x 2”
1 - H - 18.5 x 2.5”
1 - J - 7.25 x 3.75” triangle
1 - K - 7.75 x 3” triangle
4 - M - 2” square
1 - N - 11 x 6.75”  triangle
From Country Red (9900 17), cut:
1 - J - 7.25 x 3.75” triangle
1 - K - 7.75 x 3” triangle
1 - L - 10.25 x 6.5”
1 - N - 11 x 6.75”  triangle

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: MAKE SQUARE IN SQUARE

Draw a horizontal line on the back of the 4 M pieces -  this will be your sewing line. Place 2 M squares on opposite corners of O piece (RST - right sides together). Sew along drawn line. Trim to ¼” seam. Press open. Repeat with remaining 2 M squares on remaining corners. Trim and press open. Trim to 3.5” square

Step 2: MAKE HRTs

Make sure that you are sewing pieces together correctly!!
For pieces J, line up triangles on the diagonal RST
iAs these are cut on the bias, cut slowly and try not to stretch the fabric.Sew along the diagonal. Press toward the dark side Trim block to 3.75 x 6.5”

Repeat for pieces K. Trim to 2.5 x 6.5”
Repeat for pieces N. Trim to 10.25 x 6

Step 3: ASSEMBLE THE BLOCK

Join block pieces as shown. Press well. Block measiures 18½” square unfinished.
