Hi, Everyone!  Jessica Dayon- @jessicadayon- here.  Today I'm sharing the tutorial for my block called Tree Farm!  Let's get started!

This block finishes at 12" square.

12" Block
From the White Background Fabric 2- 3" x 3 1/2" pieces 1- 1 1/2" x 6 1/2" piece 20- 2" x 2" squares 6- 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" squares 4- 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" pieces 2- 2 1/2" x 3" pieces
From the Green Fabric 10- 2" x 3 1/2" pieces 3- 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" pieces
From the Brown Fabric 3- 1 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Make 3 Large Stitch and Flip Flying Geese Gather the 3 green 3½” x 6½”rectangles and the 6 white 3½” squares.  Lay one 3½” square RST on one 3½” x 6½”rectangle.  Draw a line from corner to corner on the white square and sew on that line.  Trim 1/4" from the sewn line.  Press open.  Repeat these steps on the other side of the 3½” x 6½”rectangle.  Repeat the steps to make a total of 3 large flying geese.  Set aside until needed. Make 3 Large Flying Geese, 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" Make 10 Small Stitch and Flip Flying Geese Gather the 10 green 2” x 3½”rectangles and the 20 white 2” squares.  Lay one 2” square RST on one 2” x 3½”rectangle.  Draw a line from corner to corner on the white square and sew on that line.  Trim 1/4" from the sewn line.  Press open.  Repeat these steps on the other side of the 2” x 3½”rectangle.  Repeat the steps to make a total of 10 small flying geese.  Set aside until needed. Make 10 Small Flying Geese, 2" x 3 1/2" Make 1 Large Tree Gather the 3 large flying geese, 1- 1 1/2" x 6 1/2" white piece, 2- 2 1/2" x 3" white pieces, and 1- 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" brown piece.  Sew the 2- 2 1/2" x 3" white pieces and 1- 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" brown piece together, with the brown in the middle. Make 1 Large Trunk, 2 1/2" x 6 1/2" Sew the 1- 1 1/2" x 6 1/2" white piece, the 3 large flying geese, and the 1 large trunk together into a tree, as shown below. Make 1 Large Tree, 6 1/2" x 12 1/2" Make 2 Small Trees Gather the 10 small flying geese, 2- 3" x 3 1/2" pieces, 4- 2 1/2" x 3" white pieces, and 2- 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" brown piece.  Sew 2- 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" white pieces and 1- 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" brown piece together, with the brown in the middle.  Repeat to make a second trunk. Make 2 Small Trunks, 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" To make one small tree, sew 1- 3" x 3 1/2" white piece, the 5 small flying geese, and the 1 small trunk together into a tree, as shown below.  Repeat these steps to make a second small tree. Make 2 Small Trees, 3 1/2" x 12 1/2" each Assemble the Block Sew the 1 large and 2 small trees together as shown below. This block finishes at 12" square.
